UnBlacking Africa to Erase It
UnBlacking Africa
What Is UnBlacking?
UnBlacking is the systematic process of divorcing African achievement from African people.
It operates through three mechanisms:
1. Make it White
Great Zimbabwe? Built by Phoenicians (white).
Egyptian civilization? Mediterranean (white).
North African Berbers? Not really African (white enough).
2. Make it Arab
Timbuktu's universities? Islamic scholarship (Arab).
East African trade cities? Arab influence (Arab).
Swahili civilization? Arab-African hybrid (Arab first).
3. Make it Alien
Pyramids? Ancient astronauts built them.
Dogon astronomy? Extraterrestrials told them.
Anything rather than say: Africans did this.
For five centuries, Africa's achievements have been made white, made Arab, made alien — made anything except African. This is UnBlacking, and it's still happening.
Coming to Terms
There's a word I've been searching for. Not in any dictionary, at least not yet. A word for what happens when a lie becomes so comprehensive, so load-bearing to an entire civilisational project, that its architects begin to believe it themselves.
Not propaganda. Propaganda knows it's lying.
Not revisionism. Revisionism acknowledges there was something to revise.
What I mean is a hatred so profound it auto-scams itself into sincerity. They didn't just lie to us. They lied to themselves first — with such conviction, such architectural commitment to untruth, that they eventually lost the thread back to what they buried.
Sometimes I call it peremptorical history. It's always civilisational gaslighting. It always starts with UnBlacking Africa.
The Geographic Scope:
UnBlacking operates continent-wide
Linguistic Erasure
Make African languages "dialects" or "primitive." Ban them in schools.
Force children to learn European languages. Then point to illiteracy as proof of backwardness.
France perfected this: "Nos ancêtres les Gaulois" ("Our ancestors the Gauls") force African children to claim French ancestry.
The Digital Acceleration
Today, UnBlacking operates at light speed. AI systems trained on colonial data reproduce 500-year-old lies instantly.
Wikipedia edit wars delete African achievement as "not notable."
Google's algorithms prioritize European sources over African ones.
UnBlacking is now automated.
Educational Lobotomy
Teach African children that they have no history. Start African history with slavery. Skip the civilisations, the empires, the achievements, and you end up with generations of Africans who believe their ancestors contributed nothing.

The most successful UnBlacking in history is in Egypt/Kemet.
Ancient Egypt was a Black African civilisation. The 1st-13th Dynasties, the 18th-20th Dynasties, the 25th Dynasty — fully Kemite, fully Black. The people called their land Kemet ("Black Land"), depicted themselves with African features, and built a civilisation that lasted 3,000 years.
Then came Egyptology — invented specifically to UnBlack Egypt.
Modern framing:
Egypt is now Middle East (not Africa)
Egyptians are...Mediterranean (not Black)
Egyptian achievement is inherited from "mystery civilisations" (not indigenous)
Today, Egypt is treated as separate from Africa. Maps show it. School curricula teach it. The UnBlacking succeeded.

North Africa
Algeria. Tunisia. Morocco. Libya.
Indigenous Berber/Amazigh civilisations are natively, anthropologically African, not Arab.
But decades of Arabisation policies have made Berber languages illegal, Berber identity suppressed, and Berber history erased. Today, North Africa is framed as the "Arab world," not Africa.
The native languages? Banned in schools.
The indigenous writing (Tifinagh)? Suppressed.
The history? Overwritten with Arab conquest narratives.
Berbers still live there. They just can't say they're African anymore.

Southern Africa
Namibia: Once German South-West Africa. Genocide erased the Herero and Nama peoples (80% killed 1904-1908). Today, Namibia has more descendants of German settlers than it does of many indigenous groups. Demographically UnBlacked.
Zimbabwe: The country named after Great Zimbabwe, the city colonial archaeologists insisted Africans couldn't have built. The Rhodesian government made it illegal to say Africans built Great Zimbabwe. Censorship laws enforced the UnBlacking.

Ethiopia
Ancient Ethiopian civilisation, Aksum, Lalibela's rock-hewn churches, indigenous Christianity since 330 CE.
The UnBlacking strategy: Frame Ethiopia through "biblical connections" and "Semitic peoples." Separate it from "Black Africa."
Ethiopian achievements attributed to:
Sabaean influence (Arab)
Judaic heritage (Middle Eastern)
Anything except: Ethiopian genius.
The Mechanisms of UnBlacking

West Africa: Mali Empire, Songhai, Ghana, Timbuktu, Benin, Dogon
West Africa had the world's richest empires, largest universities, and most sophisticated governance systems and they were all systematically UnBlacked.
The Ghana Empire (300-1200 CE) controlled the trans-Saharan gold trade for 900 years. When Arab traders wrote about it, they described a kingdom wealthier than anything in Europe. Europeans ignored this history entirely.
The Mali Empire (1235-1600 CE) was the richest kingdom on Earth. Mansa Musa's 1324 pilgrimage to Mecca carried so much gold it crashed the Egyptian economy for a decade. He built universities, mosques, and libraries across West Africa. European maps from the 1300s depict him holding a golden sceptre labelled "Lord of the Negroes" - they KNEW about Mali's wealth. Then they erased it.
Timbuktu (12th-16th centuries) had 25,000 university students studying astronomy, medicine, mathematics, and law when Europe was burning books. 700,000 manuscripts survive. Europeans claimed it didn't exist, then claimed it was Arab (not African), then looted the manuscripts.
The Songhai Empire (15th-16th centuries) controlled 1,400,000 km² with an organised civil service, taxation system, and military, and it was larger than Western Europe at its peak. Europeans wrote about it, then erased it from history books.
The Kingdom of Benin (1180-1897 CE) was thriving when the Portuguese arrived in 1485, they wrote that Benin City was larger and better organised than Lisbon. Streets were wider than any in Europe. Sophisticated bronze casting. In 1897, the British burned it to the ground, looted 10,000+ bronze plaques, and claimed Benin couldn't have made them. Today, those bronzes sit in British museums labelled "primitive art."
The Dogon (Mali) possessed astronomical knowledge that Europeans couldn't observe without telescopes, and they knew that the Earth is spherical and rotates on its axis, planets orbit the Sun (heliocentric, not geocentric), that the Milky Way is spiral-shaped (Europeans didn't know this until 20th century) and that Sirius B exists (white dwarf star invisible to naked eye, not confirmed by Europeans until 1970). They also took for granted that Jupiter has four moons and that Saturn has rings, all while Europe believed the Earth was flat.
The UnBlacking strategy:
Assert Arab influence in Timbuktu and ignore that Africans built it, funded it, and staffed it. Ignore Mali's wealth or attribute it to the Arab trade
The Benin bronzes were dismissed as too sophisticated for Africans to produce, just before they were looted and hidden
It was decided that Dogon astronomical knowledge was imparted by ancient aliens, rather than acknowledging African genius.
The history and breadth of West African empires, were not taught in schools at all, and as a result, most people think West Africa had no history before slavery. The empires that controlled the world's gold supply for centuries? Erased.
West Central: Kongo Kingdom, Ndongo, Loango, Luba, Lunda
West Central Africa had sophisticated kingdoms with international trade networks organised governance, and complex economies, all UnBlacked to justify slavery and colonialism.
The Kongo Kingdom (1390-1914 CE) was a powerful centralised state when the Portuguese arrived in 1482. King Afonso I (1509-1542) wrote letters in Portuguese, converted to Christianity, and sent ambassadors to Rome and Lisbon. The Portuguese crown treated Kongo as an equal... until they realised they could make more money enslaving Kongolese people than trading with them.
The UnBlacking:
Portuguese missionaries arrived, claimed they were "bringing civilization"
Reality: Kongo already had an organised government, taxation, legal system, international diplomacy
Portuguese destabilised the kingdom to create slave raids
Then claimed Africans "sold their own people" (ignoring that the Portuguese created the demand and chaos)
Kongo's sophisticated governance? Erased from history
The Ndongo Kingdom (16th-17th centuries) — Queen Nzinga (1583-1663) fought Portuguese colonisers for 30 years, using military strategy, diplomacy, and alliance-building. She's one of history's greatest military leaders. Europeans wrote extensively about her... then forgot her.
The Luba and Lunda Empires (Central Africa, 15th-19th centuries) controlled vast territories with complex governance systems, oral constitutions, and sophisticated trade networks. Their political systems influenced governance across Central Africa.
The UnBlacking strategy:
Claim these kingdoms only existed because of Portuguese contact
Erase pre-Portuguese governance and sophistication
Frame African leaders (like Queen Nzinga) as "rebels" not legitimate rulers
Attribute all organisations to European influence
Focus history on slave trade, not the kingdoms that existed before and during it
West Central Africa is not taught as the site of sophisticated kingdoms with centuries of governance, trade, and cultural achievement.
Why UnBlacking Matters
Because the lie causes measurable harm. Black children taught that they come from nothing develop:
Identity crisis (no connection to excellence)
Internalised inferiority (easier to exploit)
Generational trauma (compounding psychological damage)
The solution is knowledge.
When you know Kemet built pyramids, Great Zimbabwe engineered cities, Timbuktu ran universities, Ifa encoded mathematics, African furnaces outperformed Europe by 600 degrees, the lie collapses.
The Work Ahead - Finding Africa
ReBlacking Africa requires:
1. Name the crime: UnBlacking (you can't fix what you don't name)
2. Document the evidence: Corrective history, peremptorical research
3. Teach the truth: Rewrite curricula, publish books, create frameworks
4. Correct the technology: MythOS, AI bias correction
5. Return the artifacts: Museum decolonisation, repatriation
6. Rebuild African identity: From the truth, not the lie
This is the work of Afrodeities.
